Assemblies & Kitting

Subassemblies and kitting is completed at their Orange County facilities. PCA Aerostructures provides subassemblies on Boeing’s 747, 777 and 787 and Bell Helicopters Textron’s Huey II and Lockheed Martin’s F-22., F-35 and F-16.

Supply Chain Management

PCA Aerostructures’ Materiel Group manages a core sub-tier supply chain providing low cost alternatives of manufactured components, as well as raw material, processing, tooling and hardware. The Materiel Group utilizes long term agreements to ensure stability to the Company’s multiple long term programs.

Engineering

PCA Aerostructures Engineering Division utilizes the latest in CAD/CAM software. The CNC programming Department utilizes CATIA, NCL and Master Cam. VERICUT is used prior to release of CNC programs to ensure program accuracy. PCA Aerostructures maintains multiple stations of CATIA V4 and V5. EDI is used wherever possible to ensure timely responses to customer requirements while focusing on lean management systems.
